Day 1

Cities that follow a grid pattern.
1. Milwaukee, WI
2. Chicago, IL
3. Seattle, WA

Cities that don't follow a grid pattern
1. London, UK
2. Moscow, Russia
3. Paris, France

My city is doing pretty well for just starting but all I did was set up the zones and streets.

Day 2

grid- A rectangular system used to make street patterns.
commerce- The buying and selling of goods sometimes on a large scale.
industry- Any general business activity.
residence- A house in which a person lives or resides.
zoning- A division of a area into zones.
property tax- A tax someone has to pay for owning property.
recreation- A past time, diversion, exercise, or any other relaxation and enjoyment activity.
mayor- The chief executive official.
alderman- A member of a municipal legislative body.
common council- The local legislative body of a municipal government.

Now I got all the power and electricity up and running but no one is moving in yet.

Day 3

The zoning around Burdick seems to be mostly single family residential homes. Once you get down to Layton ave its starts to be a commerical industry with places like Mcdonald's, Burger king, and food places like that. Even with blockbuster further down the street
The only industrial area that I can think of that is close to Burdick would be south of Mitchell Airport.

I lowered my taxes but only 3 people moved in.
I am special because i didn't water anywhere

Day 4

The center of a power station is a large generator that extracts energy from fuel. Some power stations burn fossil fuels such as coal, oil, or gas. Nuclear power stations produce energy by splitting apart atoms of heavy materials such as uranium and plutonium. The heat produced is used to turn water into steam at high pressure. The steam turns a windmill-like device called a turbine connected to an electricity generator.

Day 5

Milwaukee's water really comes from one area, Lake Michigan. The water is treated at 2 plants that help treat the water so that we are able to drink. The primary form of treatment is ozonation, in which ozone gas is bubbled through the water. The second form of treatment is the processes of coagulation, settling, and filtration that removes additional particles. Once the water is treated, it is sent through multiple pipes and goes straight to homes, parks, schools, etc.
